SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta as the largest private school in Yogyakarta, is under Muhammadiyah Organisation, a second largest Islamic organisation in Indonesia. We develop a unique model of teaching-learning process which emphasizes to morality and science. Dean of OAFA NTU, Prof. Lalit Kumar Goel, Ph.D., visited SMA Muh 1 Yk, August 09 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta has confirmed itself to be part of the world. We maximize the quality of teaching and learning so our graduates can continue their study at the best university in Indonesia or abroad. This year, 2 students from this school are studying in Germany and we hope that in the following year, more and more students will study abroad. Personally, I feel honored that a delegation from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore visited this school to disseminate their program.
